"Under the hood I see beauty in great software engineering."
I've always been a tweakier and modder. I love taking things apart to see how they work, be that a car or the latest open source library. I love the power programing gives me — sitting at a desk with limited resources, I make my greatest ideas come to life.
I'm devoted to using the latest software engineering tools and techniques to build fast and robust mobile and web applications. I've worked with a wide range of languages and tools. At DigitalAugment I can be found in the coding trenches:
Like any complex object, writing software requires careful engineering. A user never sees the structure that makes software do it's magic. However, under the hood I see beauty in great software engineering.
I work with my team to design software the right way, the first time. This requires a well defined process taking us from idea to delivered product. During this process every detail of how an application will function is decided, designed, and refined before a single line of code is written. Engineering does not stop there. As an application is developed it is tested each step of the way. The use of great software engineering practices enables us to deliver robust applications efficiently.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Washington State University. During my undergrad years, I worked on large and small projects using a wide range of technologies and languages. I take a continued approach to learning, always reading, reflecting on and improving our process.
